Baseball Recap: Hurley Victorious

Hurley's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Chadwick Cardinals get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Hurley let Mason Dunn and Chase Bowling run wild. Dunn went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Bowling went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Bowling a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Powell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Hurley's victory bumped their record up to 5-15-1. As for Chadwick, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Hurley will venture away from home to face off against Exeter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chadwick, they will challenge Summersville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
