Warsaw hasn't had much luck against Concord recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. Warsaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Warsaw is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Northridge, falling 10-4.

Bayleigh Sleeth was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Ellyse Walters was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Concord made sure to put some runs up on the board against Goshen on Wednesday. The Minutemen were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the RedHawks. The matchup marked the Minutemen's most dominant win of the season so far.

Allison Ralston spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Cassi Reames was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Kendall Hodge also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Concord kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Goshen only managed seven hits.

Warsaw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Concord, they moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Warsaw came up short against Concord in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 8-4. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
