Basketball Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss

Smiths Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Auburn Tigers on the road by a 64-46 margin. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 67-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Smiths Station's record is now 10-9. As for Auburn, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smiths Station will face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will square off against Opelika at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
