Basketball Recap: Covington Trojans vs. North Vermillion Falcons

Covington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 60-43 bruising from the North Vermillion Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 46-32 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Covington lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Preslei Lazzell, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
