Vidor and Jasper are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2021, but likely not for long. The Vidor Pirates will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against the Jasper Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Jasper took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Vidor, who comes in off a win.

Vidor is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Hardin-Jefferson on Friday as Vidor made off with a 4-1 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Despite a strong season so far, Jasper has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lumberton on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Vidor's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Jasper, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Everything went Vidor's way against Jasper when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Vidor made off with a 4-1 victory. Does Vidor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jasper turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
