Baseball Recap: Kent Denver Wins Going Away Against Montbello

On Saturday, everything went the Kent Denver Sun Devils's way against the Montbello Warriors as the Kent Denver Sun Devils made off with a 16-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sun Devils.

Will Goldmanis made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Goldmanis was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Kent Denver got a massive performance out of Joseph Covell, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave Covell a new career-high. Daniel Braun was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Kent Denver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montbello only posted an OBP of .280.
