Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Dominican Knights, falling 85-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cavaliers have suffered against the Knights since January 28, 2020.

St. Thomas More's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Dominican, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

St. Thomas More has already played their next match (against Milwaukee Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dominican will face off against Martin Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dominican knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Martin Luther likes a good challenge.
