Football Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dupree last Friday, Lyman came back down to earth. The Raiders fell 18-14 to the Kadoka Kougars on Friday. The Raiders lost against the Kougars in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-14 score last time.

Kadoka was led to victory by Kole Hermann and Karson Eisenbraun. Hermann gained 99 total yards and two touchdowns, while Eisenbraun threw for 87 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Eisenbraun a new career-high in rushing yards (24).

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Lyman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones County at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Kadoka, they will take on Wall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
