Soccer Recap: Southwest's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Southwest had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Jackson Generals out 1-0 on Tuesday. Victor Olivares had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Eagles.

Southwest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Jackson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Southwest and Homestead will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 3:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Jackson, they will be home for the holidays to greet Goleman at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
