They fell just short of the Dorchester Academy Raiders by a score of 8-6. The Generals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 8-2.
Lila Kate Stines was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Aleigha Nelson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
As for Dorchester Academy, their record is now 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since May 6, 2025.
On Dorchester Academy's side, Molly Blanchard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. Blanchard has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
