Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rockhurst walked away with it. They blew past the Staley Falcons 3-0 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Hawklets as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
While Rockhurst won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-20, 25-20.
Brady Batz was the offensive standout of the game as he had ten digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
Rockhurst pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Staley, they moved to 24-11-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Rockhurst nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
