Softball Recap: Mason Takes a Loss

Mason lost a heartbreaker to Anthony Wayne when they met back in April of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Saturday. Mason fell just short of Anthony Wayne by a score of 5-3. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mason now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Anthony Wayne, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mason will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakota West at 5:00 p.m. on April 11. As for Anthony Wayne, they will venture away from home to square off against Southview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
