Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Charter). They enjoyed a cozy 72-54 victory over Vision on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vipers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Victory Charter was led to victory by Gabriel Gomez and Cody Luce. Gomez went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and five steals, while Luce went 7 of 16 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. Victory Charter is 2-1 when Gomez posts five or more steals, but 4-7 otherwise. Jett Wood was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Victory Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Vision, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Victory Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-39 win against Idaho City on the 22nd. Vision has also already played their next contest, a 76-37 loss against The Ambrose School on the 21st.
