Basketball Recap: Westview Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

After losing to Lakeridge the last time they met, Westview decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westview Wildcats took down the Lakeridge Pacers 69-51 on Friday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Pacers are ranked 54th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Westview's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Lakeridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
