Preview: Community Charter Titans vs. CHAMPS Panthers
Community Charter has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the CHAMPS Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Wednesday, Community Charter earned a 60-50 victory over the Vanguards.
Community Charter's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Edem Ladzekpo, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, and Antonio Chancon, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chancon has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Misael Davila, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, CHAMPS scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They managed a 70-64 win over Community Charter. The victory made it back-to-back wins for CHAMPS.
Community Charter's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for CHAMPS, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Community Charter came up short against the Panthers in their previous matchup on Monday, falling 70-64. Can Community Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
