Volleyball Recap: USC-MAE Takes a Loss

USC-MAE came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Downtown Magnets Suns. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Suns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

USC-MAE took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 28-26.

USC-MAE's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Downtown Magnets, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. USC-MAE will take on rival Central City Value at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Downtown Magnets is set to square off against their familiar foe Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
