The Zuni Thunderbirds got the win against the Hozho Academy Wolves on Thursday by a conclusive 64-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

Zuni's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deron Lastyano, who posted 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Lastyano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Lonjose, who earned 18 points and four steals.

Zuni's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hozho Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
