Football Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Dominion Christian

Creekside Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Dominion Christian Knights with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-10. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Ian Terrell was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made nine total tackles. Creekside Christian Academy also got a significant boost from Jovanni England, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Coming up, Creekside Christian Academy will welcome Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dominion Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Pinecrest Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
