Baseball Recap: Bend Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bend can now relate to. They fell 7-4 to the Corvallis Spartans on Tuesday.

Bend saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bend has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Corvallis, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Bend nor Corvallis have any future games scheduled.
