Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short

Syracuse lost against Freeman back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Falcons.

While Syracuse ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-20.

Addison Kastanek had a dynamite game For Freeman., getting 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Kastanek has posted over her last six contests.

Syracuse's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Freeman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Syracuse didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on the 9th. As for Freeman, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Tri County on the 9th.
