Fairfield has gone 8-2 against Biglerville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Canners  at 4:15  p.m. Fairfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
Fairfield will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one  run  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Hanover  on Monday. The Knights put the hurt on the Nighthawks with a sharp  22-4 win. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Maddy Payne made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Payne was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with four  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high.

 In other batting news, Fairfield got a  massive  performance out of  Kaylee Stone, who  went 4-for-5 with six  RBI and three  runs. Those  four  hits gave  Stone a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sydney Kreitz, who  went 2-for-4 with five  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI.
 Fairfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. They are 6-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Meanwhile, Biglerville waltzed into their game  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   7-6 W against the Squires.
Like Fairfield, Biglerville also got a great game from a two-way player:  Sydney McCleaf. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  six earned runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). McCleaf has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  run.
 In other batting news,  Jocelyn Miller and  Ava Peterson did most of the damage at the plate:  Miller  went 1-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Peterson  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.  Leah Strawsburg was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Biglerville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
Fairfield's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's   contest. The Knights have been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.3  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Biglerville, though, as  they've been averaging  only 1.3  stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Fairfield continue to outrun the ball?
