Baseball Recap: Redding Christian Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Redding Christian came up short against Destiny Christian Academy, falling 10-4. Redding Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brodie Ogden was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Kobe Corona made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Redding Christian now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
