Volleyball Recap: Suncoast Chargers vs. North Broward Prep Eagles

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Suncoast can now relate to. They came up short against the North Broward Prep Eagles on Wednesday, falling 3-0. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-12.

Bella Zingaro paced Suncoast's offense, picking up six kills. Zingaro got some help from Ava Simpson and her 12 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Destiny Wiggins, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

Suncoast's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-19. As for North Broward Prep, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Suncoast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Broward Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Dreyfoos School of the Arts on the 17th.
