Basketball Recap: Challis Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Challis can now relate to. They fell just short of the Rockland Bulldogs by a score of 26-23 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Leading Rockland to victory were Alexa Permann and Calyn Permann. Alexa posted seven points and 11 rebounds, while Calyn earned 11 points along with six boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Alexa a new career-high in blocks (two).

Challis' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Rockland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

As of now, neither Challis nor Rockland have any future games scheduled.
