Baseball Recap: Stratton Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stratton's offense. They came up short against Eads on Tuesday, falling 12-0. Stratton was not able to make up for their defeat to Eads from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Stratton has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Eads, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Looking ahead, Stratton will be playing at home against Byers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Eads, they are taking a road trip to square off against Granada at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.4 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
