Soccer Game Preview: Mount Tabor vs. Atkins + How To Watch

The Mount Tabor Spartans will square off against the Atkins Camels at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Atkins will be up against a hot Mount Tabor team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Spartans' defense stepped up to hand Oak Grove a 7-0 shutout on Monday. Mount Tabor's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atkins). They blew past North Davidson 9-0 on Monday. It was an even better day for William Roehrenbeck as he scored four goals for his team.

Atkins' victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Mount Tabor, their win bumped their record up to 14-4-1.

Everything went Mount Tabor's way against Atkins in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Mount Tabor made off with a 5-2 victory. In that matchup, the Spartans amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
