Basketball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons, falling 76-39. The Sailors have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Columbus' record now sits at 1-10. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Columbus won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Waterloo East at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they will welcome Hudson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
