Northland and New Albany squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Northland had to settle for second. The matchup between the Northland Vikings and the New Albany Eagles didn't end well, with the Northland Vikings falling 57-39. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Northland lost, don't look at Diante James. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tejuan Barbour, who put up four points along with six boards and three steals.

Northland's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for New Albany, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.
