Baseball Recap: Curie Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hyde Park on Wednesday, Curie came back down to earth. The Condors took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little Village Phoenix on Monday. The Condors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Curie's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Little Village, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

While Curie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
