Baseball Recap: Lawndale Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lawndale's offense. They came up short against the Leuzinger Olympians on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Olympians: they've now lost four in a row.

Lawndale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Alex Rodriguez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Leuzinger, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

While Lawndale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
