Softball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

The Montrose Rams came up short against the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 13-3.

Montrose saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cheyenne Massey, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Massey has brought in this season.

Montrose's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Michigan Lutheran Seminary beat Montrose by a score of 24-6 later that day.
