Volleyball Recap: Lemont Lemont HS vs. Lockport Porters

Lemont unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockport Porters on Tuesday. The Lemont HS haven't had much luck with the Porters recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Lockport can attribute much of their success to Drew Miller, who had eight digs and two aces.

Lemont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sandburg on the 27th. As for Lockport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Chicago Mt. Carmel on the 28th.
