Whiteland waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Avon Orioles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that Whiteland have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Joseph Thawng, which was the first he's scored this season.

The victory got Whiteland back to even at 4-4. As for Avon, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.
