Softball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

If Belmont was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Biggersville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals came up short against the Waterloo Cougars on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Belmont's record is now 8-11. As for Waterloo, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 21-10 record.

Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waterloo, they will square off against Hatton at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
