Softball Recap: Seguin's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Seguin couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Dragons on Saturday. The matchup marked the Matadors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Seguin's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3. As for Southwest, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

While Seguin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
