Softball Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short

North Stokes fell victim to South Stokes and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sauras. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North Stokes' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for South Stokes, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, North Stokes will look to defend their home field on Monday against East Surry at 6:00 p.m. As for South Stokes, they will venture away from home to face off against Elkin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
