Hampden is 10-0 against Nokomis since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Hampden Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Nokomis Warriors at 1:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Hampden ended up a good deal behind Lawrence and lost 52-38. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Nokomis came up short against Brewer on Friday and fell 52-40. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Witches: they've now lost three in a row.

Nokomis now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Hampden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Hampden against Nokomis in their previous matchup back in February, as the squad secured an 80-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hampden since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
