Football Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Hudson's offense. They were beaten by the Nature Coast Tech Sharks 28-0 on Friday. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Christian Garrett threw for 118 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Jonathan Gant was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

Hudson dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Nature Coast Tech, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Hudson will welcome River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Royal Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Palatka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
