Berkmar is 0-8 against Duluth since December of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Berkmar Patriots will host the Duluth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Berkmar is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Meadowcreek, falling 63-26.

Meanwhile, Duluth lost to Brookwood at home by a 55-41 margin on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Berkmar will need focus on slowing down Saniya Johnson, one of several Duluth players who made an impact when they last played. She went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nilah Jones, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds.

Berkmar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Duluth, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Berkmar lost to Duluth at home by a decisive 58-39 margin in their previous meeting back in February.
