Baseball Recap: New London Comes Up Short

New London lost against Mediapolis back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New London's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mediapolis, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

New London has already played their next matchup, a 9-8 win against West Burlington on the 13th. As for Mediapolis, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Van Buren County on the 13th.
