Saranac Lake posted their biggest victory since February 26, 2024 on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets 53-24. That's more bragging rights for the Red Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Saranac Lake's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Madrid-Waddington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saranac Lake will welcome Lake George at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Saranac Lake's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Lake George has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for Madrid-Waddington, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Lawrence Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
