Basketball Game Preview: Chilton Pirates vs. Bruceville-Eddy Eagles

Chilton is 2-8 against Bruceville-Eddy since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chilton Pirates will challenge the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Bruceville-Eddy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chilton, who comes in off a win.

Chilton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over Moody. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Bruceville-Eddy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They took a blow against Axtell, falling 49-9.

Bruceville-Eddy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Chilton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Chilton strolled past Bruceville-Eddy when the teams last played on January 3rd by a score of 40-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chilton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
