Softball Recap: Salem Sundevils vs. First Colonial Patriots

Salem extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-13. They came up short against the First Colonial Patriots, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-13 back in March.

As for First Colonial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

At the plate, First Colonial got a massive performance out of Addison Foxwell, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four RBI gave Foxwell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maura Haesler, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
