Recap: Forman Lions vs. Boston Trinity Academy Lions
The Forman Lions kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boston Trinity Academy. Forman lost against Boston Trinity Academy in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 65-55 score last time.
Boston Trinity Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyle Cameron Martin, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Wellbi Perez-Valera, who scored 8 points along with 14 rebounds and 7 assists.
Forman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Boston Trinity Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Forman will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Hill Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boston Trinity Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall at 5:30 p.m. Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall and Boston Trinity Academy are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
