Football Recap: Bishop Eustace Prep Skates Past Lindenwold with Ease

While Bishop Eustace Prep put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Lindenwold. The Crusaders claimed a resounding 44-0 victory over the Lions. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Crusaders just coasted through the last quarter.

A big part of Bishop Eustace Prep's win came down to the chemistry between Roman Faiola and his top target Eric Beach. Faiola rushed for 140 yards on only 13 carries while Beach threw for 216 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes. Those 140 rushing yards gave Faiola a new career-high.

Bishop Eustace Prep has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 46.0 points this season. As for Lindenwold, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Eustace Prep will challenge Mastery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lindenwold, they will take on Wildwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
