Baseball Recap: East Brunswick Comes Up Short

After flying high against South Brunswick on Tuesday, East Brunswick came back down to earth. The Bears fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 10-3.

East Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Hines, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

East Brunswick has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. South Brunswick's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8.
