Halls proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 17) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bradford Red Devils 8-6. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Halls' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Bradford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Halls will take on Zion Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 14.2 runs per game this season. As for Bradford, they will head out to square off against Gleason at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
