Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Boulder Creek

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Liberty challenge the Boulder Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday... Liberty will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

Last Tuesday, Liberty got the win against Corona del Sol by a conclusive 6-1.

Liberty's offense was hitting Corona del Sol from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sydney Day led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Boulder Creek faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Boulder Creek fell just short of Mountain Ridge by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 goals in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Boulder Creek's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-2.

Liberty suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Boulder Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Liberty avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
