Sadie Sjolund put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She was up against Winters and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in April. Sjolund has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sjolund and Durham will take on University Prep at 4:00 p.m. on the 20th. The Trojans are a perfect 5-0 against the Panthers going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
