Softball Recap: Arlington Beats Carmel for Their Third Straight Win

While Arlington's win against Carmel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Admirals skirted past the Rams 10-8. The victory was familiar territory for the Admirals, who have now won three contests in a row.

Sam Harris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Sam Laffin was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Mya White was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Arlington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Carmel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

As of now, neither Arlington nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
